On June 7, President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko visited OJSC “Naftan“ during his working trip to Vitebsk region. The previous visit of the head of state to the refinery in Novopolotsk took place in 2007. Aleksandr Lukashenko was informed about the investment program realization, held a meeting on the modernization of Belarusian refineries and the efficiency of export sales of petroleum products, also he spoke to the personnel.
Aleksandr Lukashenko had a look at the modern methods of managing technological processes visiting the control room at the crude oil distillation plant AT-8, large-scale reconstruction of that facility was completed in 2017. The head of state had a tour round the plant, examined social facilities, also the implementation of major investment projects including the delayed coking complex of oil residues.
After the visit Aleksandr Lukashenko held a meeting on the modernization of Belarusian refineries and export of petroleum products. The head of state noted that Belarusian enterprises today offer high-quality products, and Naftan’s fuel is highly demanded on the market.
